Terms & Conditions – Everest Edge Treks
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Everest Edge Treks. By confirming a trip with us, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Booking & Payment
A 20% advance payment is required to confirm your trip.
The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Nepal, before the trek begins.
We accept payments via bank transfer, cash, or online payment platforms (service charge may apply).
2. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, the following rules apply:
30 days before trip: Full refund of advance payment (bank charges excluded).
15–29 days before trip: 50% of the advance payment is refundable.
Less than 15 days: Advance payment is non-refundable.
If the trek is canceled due to weather, political issues, or natural disasters, we will reschedule or provide a partial refund depending on the situation.
3. Trip Postponement
You can postpone your trip free of cost if you inform us at least 15 days before the trip date.
Postponement less than 15 days before departure may include an additional fee depending on hotel or transportation changes.
4. Travel Insurance
All trekkers must have travel insurance that covers:
High-altitude trekking
Emergency helicopter evacuation
Medical treatment
Everest Edge Treks is not responsible for any expenses not covered by your insurance.
5. Risk & Responsibility
Nepal trekking involves high altitude, unpredictable weather, and remote terrain. By booking with us, you accept that:
Risks such as landslides, altitude sickness, injuries, delays, or trip changes may occur.
Our guides will make decisions for your safety, including route changes or stopping the trek if required.
Everest Edge Treks is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to your belongings.
6. Health & Fitness
You must be physically fit for high-altitude trekking.
Please inform us about any medical conditions before the trek.
The company reserves the right to deny participation if your health condition is unsafe for trekking.
7. Passport & Visa
Trekkers must carry a valid passport with at least 6 months validity.
Nepal tourist visa must be obtained on arrival or in advance.
Everest Edge Treks can provide guidance but is not responsible for visa rejection or delays.
8. Permits & Entry Fees
We will arrange all necessary national park permits, TIMS cards, and local entry fees.
Permit fees are non-refundable once issued.
9. Changes in Itinerary
Itineraries may change due to weather, road conditions, health issues, or government regulations.
Our guide will take final decisions for the safety and success of the trip.
10. Personal Belongings
You are responsible for your valuables such as passports, cameras, or money.
The company is not responsible for lost or stolen items during the trek.
11. Use of Photos & Videos
We may use photos or videos taken during your trip for promotional purposes (website, social media), unless you request otherwise.
12. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with any service, please report it immediately to your guide or the company.
We will try our best to resolve the issue promptly.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a trek with Everest Edge Treks, you agree to all the terms and conditions stated above.
